When it comes to preparing delightful breakfast treats, pancakes are a timeless favourite that can be enjoyed throughout the year (not just on Pancake Day!) Whether it's a lazy weekend morning or a special occasion, this simple pancake recipaw is suitable for humans and doggos making it the ulti-mutt family treat!
INGREDIENTS
- 200g oat flour
- 2 eggs
- 300ml oat milk
- Small amount of butter for frying
DIRECTIONS
- Place the oat flour in a bowl
- Add the oat milk (with no added flavouring or sweeteners) and whisk
- Add the eggs and whisk until you have a smooth batter
- Place a frying pan over medium heat and add approximately ½ tsp of butter to the pan
- Pour or ladle a portion of the batter into the pan. Allow the pancake to cook. Once the bottom is golden brown, flip it over and cook the other side
- Allow to cool, then serve and enjoy!
Any new food should be added gradually to your dog's diet so they don't get a poorly tummy. And make sure to always adjust your dog’s daily food allowance so they don’t gain weight while enjoying their delicious new snacks.
