Dog Friendly Summer Festivals in 2026
Summer's arrived, and here at BorrowMyDoggy, we are looking forward to festival season! But nobody wants to leave their four-legged friends at home. So we've put together a list of wagulous dog friendly summer events for 2026!
Bristol Volksfest
Bristol Volkesfest 2026 runs from the 12th to 14th June. A celebration of VW culture, this family friendly festival features cool cars, great music and chill camping. They offer everything from pitches to glamping, with accessible options and a special air cooled camping section, separate from water cooled vehicles. Families can enjoy a funfair, bike show, climbing wall, live wrestling and retro games, while refuelling at the BBQ or one of the delish food trucks.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Bristol Volksfest on a lead. Sunday features a fun dog show run by Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, and there are two doggie vendors on site - as well as festival merch!

Mighty Dub Fest
Might Dub Fest in Northumberland is another bonanza of VW culture, set at Alnwick Castle. This vanlife music festival runs from 19th-21st June 2026. As well as music and the classic car show, the festival features a wellness tent, acoustic stage, jam tent, workshops and craft market. Families will love the Tiki stage, with magicians, bingo and silent disco; as well as the fairground and Pirate Corner.
They welcome our furry friends and there’s an agility show during the weekend!

🐶 Dog friendly festival with dog show
Dogfest in the Countryside
Dogfest in the Countryside runs June 20th - 21st 2026, in Tatton Park, Cheshire. It’s a dog-first event with a range of pawfect events for pooches and their humans. You can join other owners and dogs for a range of breed meetups, from puppy playtime to gentle giants! Pups can play in the giant ball pit, join in the 11.30am dog walk (both days) or cool off in the pool! Active canines can try dog agility, the dogstacle course, or the dinner time dash.
Afterwards, head to the photo booth for a memento, then visit The Baker’s Arms - an outdoor country pub, with games, pub quizzes, and special appearances from Matt Baker throughout the weekend.

🐶 All dogs are welcome, with dog themed events, giant ball pit & water stations.
Lakefest
Lakefest runs from 5th - 9th August, 2026, at Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Herefordshire. The Charlatans headline this dog friendly music festival, also featuring Madness, Bananarama, The Undertones, and EMF. Family activities include BMX stunts, creative sessions, circus skills, retro video games and wrestling.
Dogs are very welcome and the site features veterinary nurses with a canine welfare and enrichment area, complete with splashzone - pawfect for pups to unwind and chill out away from the crowds.

Krankenhaus Festival
Krankenhaus Festival runs from the 28th - 30th August 2026, at Muncaster Castle, Cumbria. There’ll be fantastic music from Sea Power, Stereolab and Sprints, and a special last chance to experience Charlotte Church’s End Times Pop Dungeon. Cultural talks will feature photographer Mayumi Hirata, Helen McDonald and Sin Blache discussing weaponised nostalgia in sci-fi, Tom Bolton discussing nuclear power and stand up with Stewart Lee.
Families can enjoy art workshops, adventure playgrounds, mock battles, percussion, beach combing, bird of prey displays and wildlife walks. If you need to unwind, Bedtime and West will create immersive sound and laserscapes in the Castle gardens.
Dogs are welcome at the festival, and can compete in the famous Krankenhaus dog show!

Lindisfarne Festival
Lindisfarne Festival runs from 3rd - 5th September 2026 at Beal Farm, Northumberland, with a huge weekend of music, wellness and late-night fun headlined by Faithless, Razorlight and The Proclaimers. Spread across 9 stages, the festival blends big live performances with unique experiences.
From sampling Lindisfarne mead at the Viking Brewhouse to dancing into the early hours at the legendary Shanti-Bee. Where wellness, gong baths, saunas, yoga and the best late-night house parties all come together. There’s plenty more to discover across the weekend too, including reggae rhythms, spectacular pyro displays and flowing rum at the Dub Shack.
Best of all, Lindisfarne Festival is proudly dog friendly, welcoming good doggos with open arms.
