The long Easter weekend is fast approaching so we thought we’d put together some pawsome ideas of things you can do with your dog this Easter. What better way to spend that extra free time than with your best floofy friend! Take a look at the fun things you can do with them below:
Easter Egg hunt
Easter Egg hunts aren’t just for humans! You can adapt the egg hunt to be dog-friendly by using your pooch's dog-safe, favourite treats instead of chocolate eggs. Pop the treats in a kong, toys, or simply scatter them around. You can scatter treats around the house or around your garden, depending on what’s available to you and of course, on the weather!

Visit a National Trust or English Heritage park
Who doesn’t love a good day out in your local area of natural beauty? Many of the sites are dog-friendly and it’s a great day out for the whole family. We recommend checking on their website or contacting them directly to double-check what areas of the park are dog friendly.

Everyone deserves a treat every now and again, so why not take your pooch to your local pet shop.
Most pet stores let your pup in too, so why not let them choose a toy or even a tasty treat for themselves?

Take a new route
Most dogs love a walk, so why not take them to a new or different place to their regular stomping ground? They’ll love the new environment and the exciting sniffs that come with it. If it isn’t easy to take them somewhere new why not take a fit dog on an extra-long walk instead?
Here's our guide to the best dog walks.
Go to the seaside
Oh we do love to be beside the seaside! Celebrate the weather getting slightly warmer by taking a trip to your closest beach. It’ll be a fun day out for you and your pup! Make sure to double-check which parts of the beach, and what time they're dog-friendly.

Teach them a new trick
Most dogs love to learn, so take some time out of your busy weekend to teach them a new trick like bowing or touching an object. Remember to take your time with them and remain pawsitive!
Grab a bite to eat
There are a number of places around the UK which allow dogs on their premises, and this includes a number of dog-friendly pubs.
Find your local dog-friendly establishment and pay them a visit for a drink or a bite to eat and take your pup with you! Here's our guide to dog friendly pubs in the UK.
