Looking for things to do over half term? Check out this Bath pumpkin patch at Avon Valley, who have been offering fun pyo pumpkin events for 36 years! As well as pick your own, they have a specialty pumpkin market where you can take part without getting your feet muddy!
It’s the pawfect family day out with so much to do! There are theatrical performers and fire shows every 30 minutes, as well as a funfair for the kids to enjoy. Visit this 30 acre pumpkin patch near Liverpool, on Orrel Hill Lane. They’ll be open 9am - 6pm every day in October. There’s no entrance fee, you just pay for what you pick. As well as a fab variety of orange, white, grey and warty pumpkins, there are various squashes & decorative gourds. There’s also a Maize maze, pumpkin picking and an ice cream van. Plus on weekends there’s an artisan market.
Pull on your wellies, grab a wheelbarrow and get stuck in. Their shop also has pre-picked squashes if you prefer. Dogs are very welcome on a lead.

Farrington’s Pumpkin Festival

This pumpkin patch near Bristol has been established for 12 years and offers fun for all the family. Your festival ticket grants you access to the Pumpkin Patch, themed displays, the Witch's Wood area, carving area and on-site parking. Toast marshmallows with Whinny the witch and carve pumpkins in the marquee. Kids will love the pop up funfair, and can blow off steam in the indoor playbarn.

Bates Farm

Bates Farm is a much loved family run farm on the Cheshire-Lancashire border in Warrington. The farm is home to a sprawling 7-acre pumpkin patch bursting with over 40 varieties to choose from. You can pick your pumpkins come rain or shine in the undercover pumpkin barn. And while you’re there, don’t forget to say hello to the friendly farm animals; from pigs and sheep to calves and donkeys.
After all that exploring, the new food court is the pawfect place to refuel. They stock artisan coffee and cakes, sweet crepes, and wood-fired pizzas served fresh between 12–4pm. There are also plenty of exciting new photo spots to capture those seasonal memories, plus a pink tractor raising funds for Cancer Research. There's even face painting for little visitors.
