"Having been a dog owner for over 25 years, we were devastated in July when our much loved Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge. Our circumstances have changed and having another dog right now is not an option as we are both working full time. Eight weeks after the loss of our Lucy, I lost my Dad, the two bereavements sent me into a downward spiral, with the weekends being the worse. Whilst off work, I came across BorrowMyDoggy and joined up instantly. I cannot begin to tell you how this membership has impacted my life and very importantly my mental and physical well being. I spotted Dottie on the page and got in contact with her owner, Fiona. We met up and all got along famously. We now have Dottie every Sunday whilst Fiona is at work. Fiona and Dottie have become firm friends and very much part of our extended family. We can safely say they bought us back to life. We have our Sundays to look forward to and they are spent getting out and about enjoying all the fun that comes with a beautiful and wonderful dog.
