"I joined BorrowMyDoggy as I am a student who lives away from home, and I miss my dog at home. This experience changed my life by encouraging me to explore more of the local country side on walks, it’s helped me meet some amazing people and most importantly it’s helped me to connect with some lovely dogs. Being a student can be incredibly lonely and isolating, so a four-legged friend to keep you company is wonderful. I’ve benefited by helping to bridge the gap in between the time I am away from home and at University missing my dog, by providing some comfort and familiarity. My biggest surprise from joining this community was how wonderfully kind, genuine and trusting people have been. I was worried that as a student, people wouldn’t let me borrow their dogs.
